Academic Staff

The Teachers Qualification Systems and the Teachers Duties Systems are carried out at Colleges and Universities in China. The prerequisite for performing teacher’s duties is to obtain qualification of teachers. Academic ranks of teachers include professors, associate professors, instructors and teaching assistants whose specific duties are prescribed by State Department.

The university makes available the opportunity for the academic staff to involve themselves in the management of the university.

1、Senior experts and scholars assume the office of Board of Academic Committee whose role is decision making in the major affairs of teaching, scientific research, and medical work.

2、Teachers, who make up 85 percent of the board, and administrators are responsible for the administration of the Academic Degree Committee, which is in charge of the quality of the talents.

3、Teachers constitute the majority of the Teaching Guidance Committee, Teaching Supervision Committee and Continuing Medical Education Committee, which entitle them to participate directly in the administration of the university.

4、Experts and scholars act as review members in the assessment of education, the review of scientific projects and of the latest medical technologies.

5、Symposiums for teachers are often held. Moreover, conferences are also held with teachers to discuss their suggestions and opinions in teaching work.
