General Service

 

To adapt to the market economy and promote the socialization of the general service of the university, the reform in the general service of HMU was conducted in 2001. The Managing Department of General Service and the General Service Group were set up.

 

The Managing Department of General Service includes two executive sections: Section of Construction Projects and Section of Comprehensive Management. It is responsible for the capital construction, the management of building property, distribution of the maintenance work, the stipulation of rules and regulations regarding general service and the check-up for them.

 

The General Service Group, with service for teaching, research, faculty and students as its principle, is responsible for the faculty and students¡¯ catering, for the supply of water, electricity, heating for teaching, research and faculty and students¡¯ living, for the arrangement of students¡¯ dormitories, for the beautification of the campus environment and maintenance of the campus facilities, and for the use of vehicles. The General Service Group aims to improve its management level and service quality, and step up its process to socialization. Its has five subordinate service centers: Center of Dormitory Management, Center of Catering Service, Center of Water, Electricity and Heating, Center of Transport, and Center of Comprehensive Service Management.
