Harbin Medical University(HMU) was a
coalition between the former Harbin Medical University and Xing Shan
China Medical University. Her history is as follows:
·In September 1926 Dr. Wu Liande founded Harbin Medical College
·In November 1931 Chinese Worker& Farmer Health School in Rui Jin
County, Jiang Xi Province
·In February 1932 E Du Red Army Military Medical School.
·In September 1940 Yan An China Medical University
·In July 1945 Xing Shan (He Gang) China Medical University
·In October 1947 The 1st Branch of China Medical University in Long
Jing (Featuring internal medicine)
·In March 1948 The 2nd Branch of China Medical University in Harbin
(Featuring 5 sense organs)
·In April 1948 The 3rd Branch of China Medical University in Tong
Hua Area
·In May 1948 The 4th Branch of China Medical University in Ping Gu
Area
·In April 1949 Named as Harbin Medical University
·In 1954 under the National Ministry of Health’s leading
·1n June 1956 Name Substitution as Harbin Medical College
·In April 1958 the National Ministry of Health handed the school
over to Hei Longjiang Province
·In November 1958 Named as Harbin Medical University again
