International office is functional department for HMU to go through with state's foreign affairs policy and education international intercourse policy, coordinate matter-of-fact of international intercourse and collaboration. It is competent department that supervises whole school foreign affairs working. It takes superior departmental supervision upon; combines with correlative department to safeguard national security and guard state secret; shoulders dual responsibility for helding the pass of policy and supervising foreign affairs:
   Study abroad advanced science and technique cum managerial experience,serve school development,especially for faculy qualified to teach procession and subject construct by intercourse and collaborate.
To propagandize CCP's foreign affairs guideline and policy,introduce school,propagandize school,improve the prestige of my University through the hard work and outstanding services for friendly scholars, oversea experts and international students.
    Institution function:supervise, instruct, coordinate, serve:

    1.Under president's leadership, to assist university to establish international exchange rules through the height of colleging internationalization, coordinate all of university foreign activities,assist leaders of HMU to instruct, supervise, inspect the international exchange work of all affiliated colleges of HMU;

    2.Manage the intercourse plans between universities, include establishment of plan, drawing out agreement,superviseing and serveing for the implement and working order of exchange programs;
    3.Manage international students: include establishing developing plans, and the management of emrollment,teaching,life and entry/exit visa to China;
    4.Invite foreign experts,apply and confirm, management;
    5.Invite honorary professors;
    6.Check,apply and approve of running school abroad and cooperation for running school between chinese and foreign institution;
    7.Examine and approve documents of faculty who,on official business,goes abroad (boundary) and students who goes abroad (boundary),on official business,for long short-term as well as handleing the passport, the visa (pass); and in charge of international exchange disciplinary education work;
    8.Answer for friendly reception to the foreign officers or scholars;
    9.Answer for communication and contact with relative institutions;
    10.Accomplish other relative tasks from university's leaders and superior departments.
