HMU 5 YEAR PROGRAM INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP REGULATION

1 .In order to arouse students’enthusiasm and initiative,we launch these rules.
2 .All the rules below should fit tire international students.
3.The evaluation is open,fair and candid.
4.International office should be in charge of the duty of evaluating scholarship funds.
5.the scholarship will be paid in cash.
6 .There will be 3 types of scholarships:5OORMB per each semester,400 RMB per each semester,and 300 RMB per each semester.we will evaluate the qualifications according to the total number of students.If the total number of international students of HMU is no more than 100,we will choice 3 candidates from them.If the total number of international students of HMU is more than 100,500RMB will be granted to the candidates who are chosen from top 2 percentile of the total number of international students every semester, 400 RMB for top 6 percentile,300 RMB for top 12 percentile.
7 .The method of evaluation:
includes two factors:moral education and intellectual education .Integrative score=moral score x 25%+course scorex 75%.
8 .Evaluation standard:
8 .1 Students should obey consciously Chinese laws and HMU regulations
8 .2 Students should show respect to teachers,get on well with others, be honest and polite.
8 .3 Students should take part in all the activities organized by University.
8 .4 Students should study hard and struggle to achieve eligible or excellent score that are requested by HMU.
8.5 Students should keep in good health.
Notice:The student’s scholarship qualification should be canceled if
the cases below are met:
8 .6 Disobey the university’s regulation during academic year.
8 .7 Cannot be absence from class more than or equal to 2 weeks,without due reason(including illness).
8 .8 Failure in one or more subject during the academic year.
8 .9 Damaged seriously the laboratory instruments or doesn’t pass the
laboratory exams.
8 .10 Teachers disapprove of the individual obtaining a scholarship.
9 .If the individual who has won the scholarship is punished for any reason according HMU regulation,he or she will be requested to pay back the scholarship money and honorary certificate,and his or her qualification will he canceled for one academic year.
