哈尔滨医科大学公共卫生学院卫生学教研室始建于1953年， 1955年与由中国医科大学迁至哈尔滨医科大学的卫生系卫生学总论教研室合并。李任秋、赵金庆、宋增仁、高良文、蒋知俭、王子元、高晓华、赵景波教授曾先后任教研室主任。目前，本教研室有教职工共6人，均具有博士研究生学位，其中星联特聘教授1人（引进人才）、副教授1人，讲师4人，其中博士、硕士研究生导师1人。
卫生学教研室承担非预防医学专业本科生的教学和管理工作、包括临床医学（“5+3”一体化）、临床医学、儿科学、麻醉医学、影像医学、口腔医学、公共事业管理管理、基础医学和基础医学（伍联德）等专业，年均580学时。教学内容涵盖环境卫生学、职业卫生服务与职业病管理、食品安全与食物中毒、预防医学及三级预防的思想、慢性非传染性疾病的预防与管理、全球健康等。教研室同时承担硕士和博士研究生相关课程授课和管理：包括《医学论文写作》《全球健康》《实施科学》《预防医学与公共卫生》等课程，年均学时约130学时。教研室在教学模式和方法上积极探索、大胆实践，坚持教学改革，在第四届黑龙江省高校教师教学创新大赛获一等奖，获批黑龙江省教育科学“十四五”规划重点课题1项、中国高教学会课题1项、学院教育科学研究课题2项；发表教学论文10余篇；获批黑龙江省一流本科虚拟仿真课程1项；主编著作2部，副主编5部，参编规划教材8部；获得黑龙江省高等学校教育技术论文评比二等奖1项，哈尔滨医科大学教学成果一等奖1项，二等奖1项；分别指导国家级大创3项，省级和校级大学生创新创业计划项目共7项。
科研方面，教研室主要研究方向慢性病流行病学、肿瘤流行病学、人群慢性非传染性疾病与伤害的预防与管理、心理疾病流行病学以及环境污染物对健康影响及机制研究等，主持或参与海外机构资助项目、国家自然科学基金项目、博士后基金项目、黑龙江省卫生计生委科研课题等项目多项，获得发明专利1项，获得黑龙江省科学技术二等奖1项，累计发表国家级核心期刊文章100余篇，SCI论文30余篇。
卫生学教研室紧紧围绕学校和学院的发展方向和中心工作，围绕“高水平建设”和“双一流”建设的总体目标，夯实自强，改革创新，以人才培养为重点，秉承教学和科研相辅相成，打破学科界限，将两者有机融合协同育人。未来将进一步提升教研室核心竞争力和综合实力，实现学科的可持续发展。
The Department of Hygiene was founded in 1953 and merged with the Department of General Theory of Hygiene of the Department of Health, which was moved from China Medical University to Harbin Medical University in 1955. Professor Li Renqiu, Zhao Jinqing, Song Zengren, Gao Liangwen, Jiang Zhijian, Wang Ziyuan, Gao Xiaohua, and Zhao Jingbo have successively served as directors of the department. Currently, there are six faculty members in the department, including oneXingLianprofessor (also recruited as High-Level Talent), one associate professor, and four lecturers. One of them is a supervisor of doctoral and master's students. All teachers in the department hold doctoral degrees.
In terms of teaching, the department is currently mainly responsible for thelecturingand management ofPreventive Medicinecourses for non-preventive medicine undergraduates and international students, including clinical medicine ("5+3" integration), clinical medicine, pediatrics, anesthesiology, imaging medicine,stomatologyand public affairs management,providingover580class hours annually. The bachelorcoursescoverstopics such as environmental health, occupational health services and management, food safety and food poisoning, preventive medicine and the idea of tertiary prevention, the prevention and management of chronic non-communicable diseases, and global health.The departmentisalsoresponsible forboth thelecturingand administrationof courses formaster's and doctoral students, includingMedical Paper Writing,Global Health,Implementation Science, andPreventive Medicine and Public Health, providingapproximately 130 class hoursannually.The department actively explores and practices teaching models and methods, adheres to teaching reforms. The department has received The first place in Heilongjiang Provincial College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competitionand has been granted one key project in the "14th Five-Year Plan" for education sciences in Heilongjiang Province, one project from the China Higher Education Society, and two projects from the education science research institute of the college. The department has published more than ten teaching papers, has been granted one first-class virtual simulation course in undergraduate education in Heilongjiang Province, and has edited two books, co-edited five books, and contributed to eight planning textbooks. The department has also won one second prize in the evaluation of education technology papers in higher education institutions in Heilongjiang Province, one first prize and one second prize in teaching achievements of Harbin Medical University, and has supervisedover all threenational,and sevenprovincial,university-level "College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program"projects.
In terms of research, the department mainly focuses on epidemiology of chronic diseases and tumors, prevention and management of chronic non-communicable diseases and injuries in populations, epidemiology of mental disorders, and research on the impact and mechanisms of environmental pollutants on health. The department has led or participated in many projects funded by overseas organizations, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Health and Family Planning Commission of Heilongjiang Province, among others. The department has been granted one invention patent and one second prize in science and technology in Heilongjiang Province, and has published more than 100 articles in national core journals and more than 30 SCI papers.
The Department of Hygiene closely follows the development direction and center work of the university and college, adheres to the overall goals of "high-level construction" and "double first-class" construction, solidifies self-strengthening, reforms and innovates, focuses on talent training, and adheres to the complementary relationship between teaching and research. The department breaks through disciplinary boundaries and integrates teaching and research in a coordinated manner to cultivate students. In the future, the department will further enhance its core competitiveness and comprehensive strength, and achieve the sustainable development of the discipline.
